JOB OVERVIEW

As a HR Manager, you are responsible for the HR department of Idealis Consulting. You supervise the HR team, you actively participate in recruitment for the final phases and when necessary, you ensure that all legal obligations are met (hard HR) and you ensure that everyone can evolve within a framework conducive to giving the best of itself (soft HR). You are attentive to everyone's needs, to the challenges encountered by team members and you propose solutions. You proactively implement HR processes adapted to the evolution of the company and its needs.

As a HR Manager, you report to your CEO.


POSITION DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

HR Strategy and leadership

As HR Manager at Idealis Consulting, you define and evolve the HR strategy aligned with the company’s goals. You validate the HR budget with the CEO, ensure smooth HR operations, and continuously improve processes to support employee growth.

Recruitment

You are actively involved in recruitment, particularly in validating candidates at the final stage for your team. You oversee the HR team’s recruitment efforts and participate in interviews and offer drafting.

Onboarding

You manage the integration of new hires, ensuring they follow a tailored onboarding plan. You assign a coach, monitor training progress, track their first two months, and oversee certifications when needed.

Evaluation and development

You lead the full evaluation cycle for your team—planning, organizing, and conducting contract, operational, and development interviews—and report results to the CEO. You conduct reframing interviews as necessary and escalate issues proactively.

You support career growth by identifying skill needs, allocating training time, discussing promotions and raises with the CEO, and participating in Talent Reviews to develop high-potential employees.

Team leadership and spirit

You foster a positive team environment through effective coaching, honest management, and regular team meetings. You ensure no unresolved conflicts impact performance or wellbeing and mobilize talents toward shared goals.

Retention and coaching

You promote retention by aligning career plans, development, and compensation with individual aspirations and skills. You organize quality checks on projects, ensure continuous progress, and facilitate knowledge sharing within your team.

Administrative management and compliance

You oversee payroll, HR data accuracy, social legislation compliance, vehicle fleet management, and GDPR adherence.

Primary HR contact

You coordinate onboarding/offboarding, facilitate communication between employees and managers, and lead orientation or realignment interviews when needed.

HR process implementation and monitoring

You implement and monitor all core HR processes and lead new HR initiatives to keep the company aligned with best practices.

 

YOUR PROFILE


  • Master’s degree in HR Management, Business, Psychology, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role
  • Fluent in French and English; Dutch knowledge is a plus
  • Comfortable with IT tools and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Basic knowledge of Belgian social legislation and payroll system
  • Experienced in HR processes for SMEs
  • Skilled in conducting interviews and managing teams
  • Self-driven and adaptable
  • Customer-oriented with a strong focus on quality
  • Team player with excellent collaboration skills
