Functional Architect

POSITION

As an Odoo Functional Architect, you will work transversally on the most complex projects. Your main mission is to improve the quality of our business analysis services provided to clients and to increase the skills of the Odoo team's business analysts. You will ensure that the Idealis project management methodology is applied to all assignments.

You will be the point of reference for projects requiring the functional and business expertise of around 20 business analysts.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

 

  • Work on projects as Senior Business Analyst for complex projects, maintain in this way a high level of Odoo and our services/products, challenge customer processes (model flows in order to integrate them into Odoo) autonomously
  • Translate customer needs into development or configuration tasks and ensure that the tasks performed are well documented
  • Carry out functional testing
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts during critical phases of their projects, with the aim of increasing their skills and avoiding errors
  • Establish the functional architecture of key projects of the Odoo team
  • Ensure the quality of the analyzes, carry out "quality audits" at the level of the functional solutions offered to customers in order to continuously train the BAs and redirect their projects if necessary
  • Take pre-sales demos in charge
  • Share knowledge and feed the Idealis Academy
  • Create bridges between Odoo teams in order to standardize the functional solutions offered to customers and in order to provide maximum expertise to all our customers
  • Coach juniors and those who lack experience in a field

YOUR PROFILE


  • Bachelor/Master in a field related to the position (Business Management, Computer Sciences, Engineering, ...)
  • At least 7 years of experience with Odoo
  • Odoo certification
  • Comfortable with IT tools and environment
  • Business modeling: understanding and translating customer needs
  • Self-development
  • Capacity to test and challenge an existing solution
  • Fluent in English and French (Dutch is a plus)
